One of a series of street photos taken around NYC, when I come home from work feeling I have had a bad day I look at this set and it slaps me into shape and makes me appreciate what I have :)
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it

A story telling picture without the conclusion. We have street people who stay here all winter in quite a cold
climate. It's hard to understand why anyone would choose to live this way. A nearby hospital has the busier
emergency room in this state. My friends who had to go there recently reported many of the clients in the middle of the night are people who have no other way to obtain health care. Even if you get care, then it's back out on the street with no place to get well. Sad.

It´s sad times we live in when people are left outside th system like this. Sadly enough it happens all over the world. A sad but very good photo, the fact that it´s in mono enhances the feeling. Well done.

This image is powerful, emotional. And your words are so true - this person was one someone's child, maybe someone's parent or sibling, just like you and I. We are incredibly lucky. Thanks for the reminder.

Emotional image and powerful reminder to us who are fortunate.
Yes it is sad, but often there is help. Although many of the homeless have had a difficult life and never experienced life without dysfunction. That is the sad part.

Very emotional image JJ I like to think we don't have people like this in NZ but I know that the truih is that ! we don't always see them and too these scenes are becoming more and more obvious if you know where to look and what to look for.

life is darwinian...i look at the beautiful river on which I live and see nothing but nature's bounty...beneath
there is violence..one feeding on another for its survival...we need to keep this lesson in mind as we navigate this life..sieze your moment nothing is promised... very compelling image!
