I have lived in or around NYC for about 11 years now and realised the other day I had never walked over Brooklyn Bridge, so as I was up early the other day I decided it was time to do that.Was glad I did as I managed to catch this sunrise shot looking over Manhattan Bridge

I like very much the silhouette of Manhattan bridge against the wonderful colors of the sunrise.
To walk across the Brooklyn bridge at this hour has to be a very impressive experience.

This is one of the most beautiful shots of that iconic bridge and a sunrise that I have ever seen. Just gorgeous!
I have no memory of having ever been on that bridge in my life although I am pretty sure I had been on it as a child.
It is funny how some things are so close and yet we never ever see them up close and in person.
