FramedPosted by JJ (Jersey City, United States) on 21 October 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. Empire state building in the early morning light framed by a tree a shot I have had in mind for weeks and until last friday, hadnt found a spot to capture it, but got into the city early and strolled around and caught this shot which I actually really like which is unusual for me :) Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesOh niiiiice! REally well framed with the trees. This is really effective. I had done something along those lines a year or so ago but it was a wider shot of the city framed by trees. And it was an evening shot. 21 Oct 2008 5:15am claire from Canadavery good framing. love the lighting on the building. very nice shot. :) 21 Oct 2008 6:26am Krisu from Tampere, FinlandLike the composition very much and the light is so warm! One critique though, I don't like that 'aminus'-thing right in the middle of the image. Is that really necessary? I mean yes, by all means a label but in the middle?? 21 Oct 2008 6:41am Emily Ng from Studying in: Adelaide, Australia | Home:, Singaporev nice framing, organic n concrete lines =) great feeling to get the shot finally 21 Oct 2008 7:53am Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandYou are right to like it and I'm supresed you don't love it!!!
