One from Açores, PortugalA beautiful composition, a large building with a beautiful sky, the green of the leaves is a perfect touch of class. 30 Oct 2008 5:07am dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United StatesGorgeous!! And this building has played a HUGE role in my life -- although certainly not anything like it has in yours!! Just a teaser for our offline chat!! :D 30 Oct 2008 5:45am @dj.tigersprout: Thanks, the teaser worked, you have me intrigued Elaine- from Vancouver, Canadacool shot of a cool building, it looks like if the wind caught it just right it would blow over! 30 Oct 2008 7:03am @Elaine-: Funny you should mention wind, The entrance for staff in this building can be like a wind tunnel some days, its only a short walk from the entrance to the compound to the entrance of the building, but it can be like your walking in a wind vortex sometimes Zing from Hamilton, New ZealandNicely composed, love the green leaves on the side too. I would love to visit NY one day and get one of those I LOVE NY t-shirts. 30 Oct 2008 7:08am Kingfish from Menlo Park, United StatesGood job on the placement! The UN building, as stoic as it is, and then the flags off to the left. Great capture. 30 Oct 2008 7:11am Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceIt reminds me "North by Norwest". Nice reflections at the bottom, and the framing with the branches works so well. A real sense of size and power here 30 Oct 2008 11:11am Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomImpressive building, impressive concept . . 30 Oct 2008 12:50pm Wolfgang - vu@granby from Granby, Québec, CanadaIt's not easy to get an interesting shot of a huge building, you did a great job here! I would be also quite imprest to work close to this building, representing so many things for the world. Good thinks and bad thinks. By the way, thanks for your flattering comments on my pages, I appreciate. 3 Nov 2008 8:08pm |
