Will you be my MammaPosted by JJ (Jersey City, United States) on 19 November 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Bahbahra sometimes may appear very confident and outgoing but as you can see here sometimes she is seeking a motherly figure Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

I hope she doesn't feel rejected by the cat!! 19 Nov 2008 8:26am @Linerberry: Thanks, the cat did reject her but Bahbahra bounces back and is very sociable as future shots will show Stéphane from Bruxelles, BelgiumGreat composition and a beautiful cat by the way. I like the blur effect around the subject. 19 Nov 2008 9:26am Pixim from Nice, FranceWhat it is this nice, is really a cat or a cuddly toy of cat? but your idea to interest the cat in the cuddly toy does not function, it will be necessary to find another mom ;) 19 Nov 2008 10:03am @Pixim: it really is a cat our persian blue and yes your right it didnt work, bahbahra is still looking for a motherly figure FLOOG from United KingdomOh, that pussy cat is just divine. A funny and wonderful photograph, gorgeous colour and tones, and so nicely presented. Have I mentioned yet how gorgeous that pussy cat is...... ha ha 19 Nov 2008 10:17am @FLOOG: thanks, the cat is beautiful but very set in her eyes, in her minds this is her house and were merely here to serve her at her convenience Nicholas from Shah Alam, MalaysiaLol I thought she was about take on the cat for something :P 19 Nov 2008 10:32am Elaine- from Vancouver, Canadai think the cat is more the career woman than the motherly type lol... bahbahra is very tiny lol sooooo cute this shot 19 Nov 2008 10:35am Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesSomehow that looks like a rather dangerous spot -- beautiful photo. 19 Nov 2008 12:25pm Marion from Liberty Township, United StatesJJ, that is a wonderful capture of your cat! A cuddly toy cat (i'm not sure my translation, sorry). And this picture is so lovely. 19 Nov 2008 4:04pm dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaI didn't realise before just how small Bahbahra (darn - now the Beach Boys are rolling around in my head again!) is. Just shows you how observant I've been in the past. Looking at the expression on the cat's face, however, I think the question more likely is "Will you be my bodyguard?" :) 19 Nov 2008 4:34pm @dobbino: She is indeed quite tiny maybe only an inch tall. lol the bodyguard may be more appropriate @Wolfgang - vu@granby: I am sure Bahbahra would accept the cuddle but cannot be so sure with Seifid the cat, she isnt the cuddly type Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomBahbahra will be fine . . as long as there is no sudden movement ! The cat, of course, ignores all but the reliable realities of the cat world. 19 Nov 2008 5:40pm Terry H. from Azle Texas, United StatesI like that the little toy bear is there, its makes the photo funny and adds interest to the shot. Well done! 19 Nov 2008 5:41pm don from spokane, United StatesA very appealing kitty shot. I like her pose and the nice job you did of capturing her hair color both light and dark. Fine picture. 19 Nov 2008 5:58pm Shirin S. Moosavi from Tehran, IranShe is just beautiful! I ADORE cats! 19 Nov 2008 6:45pm jamesy from christchurch, New ZealandI think the cat recognises same fundamental biological differences that Bahbahra may be overlooking in her search for a mother figure. Almost the right colour but defianely the wring species hehehe Perhaps she needs a visit home to NZ to see some of her own kind. If you go back on my site there are some sheep photos perhaps whe will feel better if she sees them. 19 Nov 2008 8:23pm Elisa from Massachusetts, United StatesBahbahra, you are adorable!! great capture JJ! 19 Nov 2008 8:49pm Maramy from Aberdeenshire, United KingdomBeautiful cat and those eyes!! i do not think she wants to know babahra though aaaahh. 19 Nov 2008 8:50pm Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomThe cat dosen't seem too bothered about becoming a foster-parent. 19 Nov 2008 9:47pm Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaLovely shot like the textures of the wood and fur. 19 Nov 2008 9:56pm AC from NY, United StatesLovely. Very well thought of and executed snap. Like the contrast of white on brown. The expression on the cat's face isn't very accommodating! 19 Nov 2008 10:24pm Charles from New York, United StatesNice shot JJ. The cat must have a lot of patience. 20 Nov 2008 1:39am MontereyJohn from Salinas, California, United StatesHa! Her Imperial Majesty I presume?
