Foggy evening

A shot from last week coming home one night and the Empire state was nicely surrounding by Fog, dont think I have had the camera out since getting to cool in the morning when I normally am out shooting on way to work
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it
Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

WOW thats pretty spectacular!! I can imagine King Kong is about to appear (the old black and white one that is lol). Great shot mate:-)

Great shot JJ especially in graytone, it must be an awesome sight being on the top floor in the fog.

@Observing: Thats a good point I hadnt thought of, hopefully one day whens its foggy I will have time to go up and see, well even on a clear day, have only been up there once and not since the new Camera

What an impressive building, that's a great architecture indeed... lots of mystery added by the mist... make me feel as if this image was taken in the 1920's...

As I like this one, it is very impressive. In this atmosphere, this brilliant tower has to become a lighthouse which allows each to find the road. Once again, it is stunning Bravo ;)

Outstanding capture of this incredible landmark. I like how the fog consumes the building. Excellent in B&W. The kind of view most of us do not see, which makes this unique.
For several years I worked in a historical building from the same era as the Empire, although not has tall. Your image brings back fond memories.

Superb b&w! I love the feel of this shot. Very dramatic. Growing up in San Diego, we experienced a lot of foggy days. Here in the Midwest, not so much. I miss it. It gives the environment a calming feel, almost as if all the noise had been hushed.
