Love the reflected colours in the pond. Thought I might try to find Bahbahra a friend take a photo of a shot in NZ somewhere and send it on to other AM3 friends around the world for them to post a photo with whoever it maybe just for a bit of fun what do you think? 27 Nov 2008 6:52am @jamesy: Thanks for comment, and I think thats a superb idea for a project, sort of where in the world is (whatever you name the toy you find, ) I would be glad to take part Nicholas from Shah Alam, MalaysiaHappy thanksgiving and what a great shot. The colours here are awesome. nice processing. 27 Nov 2008 7:01am Craig from United KingdomGreat find, the colours reflected in the water are just wonderful. I might just have masked the ducks legs when pushing the reds/oranges up. 27 Nov 2008 7:33am @Craig: Thanks Craig, Appreciate your comment and suggestion, Masking is something I havent tried yet, clearly something I need to Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceIt's a lovely scene and a very good composition. But may be colors are a little bit too mutch satured... just my opinion... :-)) 27 Nov 2008 8:25am @Evelyne Dubos: Thanks for comment and honest critique, I do agree I have overdone the saturation, I need to spend time learning photoshop but not getting carried away like I have here dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Stateswow holy color!! :D faaabulous shot, the color makes this photo a type of jewelry -- as if someone could wear it! wonderfully done and happy holidays!!! 27 Nov 2008 9:28am Rui from Leiria, PortugalHappy thanksgiving to you. 27 Nov 2008 10:19am @Rui: Thanks Rui, I know your right and others have said the same, will try not to get so carried away in the future Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadathe colours, reflections, composition - superb 27 Nov 2008 11:08am zOOm from Paris, FranceAhahha ! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. 27 Nov 2008 4:25pm sherri from Little Rock, Arkansas, United StatesCute title for this. Love all the vibrant colors. 27 Nov 2008 4:34pm tyan from Singapore, Singaporethis is so beautiful and adorable i want to enlarge it many times over ,frame it up and hang it at the centre of my living room! 27 Nov 2008 5:09pm Alphons from Kaatsheuvel, NetherlandsNice composition (Have you played with the saturation?) 27 Nov 2008 5:48pm Pixim from Nice, FranceI like particularly this first exceptional reflection of a color. And I like especially, this line of ducks, all fussed in an important cleaning. The saturation seems however too important, in any cases on my screen. But it is tasteful affair, and the photo in general is beautiful and interesting ;) 27 Nov 2008 6:12pm Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesThose ducks look content. I was watching "Sunshine State" again the other day and one of the characters was talking about his inspiration for landscaping based on the original spirit that motivated the landscaping in Central Park. 27 Nov 2008 8:44pm Phototherapy from SwitzerlandWonderful colors, it could be in the jungle. 27 Nov 2008 9:27pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomSuper saturation of intense colour, lovely shot. 27 Nov 2008 9:45pm PeterFH from Gothenburg, SwedenGreat vivid colors in this one. Have a really nice thanksgiving and thanks for all your kind comments. 27 Nov 2008 10:07pm Lilly and Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United StatesDucks seem often to perform 'as a group' like this . . something in their nature. Love that splash of fall color in there . . . just right for a Happy Thanksgiving ! 27 Nov 2008 10:35pm Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomA superb image, lovely vibrant colors. 27 Nov 2008 11:38pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanThe very saturated colors gives a feeling of a painting. You could try to desaturate partially only the blue color (this is possible with Photoshop) 28 Nov 2008 1:36am Les from Lincoln, United StatesI love the way they're all tucked into their wings. Nap time on the rock (or maybe they're grooming)? Nice capture. I can't give any advice, as I've never used Photoshop. All I know how to do is resize, crop and rename! 28 Nov 2008 2:52am One from Açores, PortugalWhat beautiful composition !! A true picture of artist !! 28 Nov 2008 4:53am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaThis is such a great composition -- and it isn't just the ducks, although it's brilliant how you caught them all nicely positioned like that. Each to their own, of course, although I would have prefered to see a little less saturation for this type of image. Still lovely, though. 28 Nov 2008 12:10pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThe high saturation you used here makes it perfect. 28 Nov 2008 1:58pm Ken McCoy from Orlando-Daytona Beach, FL, United StatesAn unusual shot for Thanksgiving - you can't beat a row of ducks :) Great technique! 30 Nov 2008 10:54pm |
