I will interrupt the festive shots as over the last couple of days we had our first real snow fall, and when I went out yesterday morning to shovel away the snow I also popped out for a few shots, and this is my favorite one
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it
Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

@Observing: Ohh it was, this morning was -10 C when i left the house with fairly firm winds, wished I could have gone back to bed but work got in the way

A fine icicle shot. I think you did a great job of capturing how icicles look. They can be difficult to shoot.

Icicles are so beautiful when you take the time to really look at them. This is a lovely shot using the colours in the background to full advantage.

Fantastic little image, sharp focus and narrow DOF work so well. The reds reflected through the ice really add to the detail.

I like how the sickles are slightly askew. I don't know if the wind was blowing and made them form that way or if you intentionally tilted the camera, but it works.
