When water turns to ice

Took an early morning stroll though Central park the other morning this is one of the shots i took there
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it
Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

Beautiful morning glow and the warm reflect off the frozen pond, nice contrast. I like the way you frame your shot either side, feels solid in the middle, nice job.

JJ, you have no idea how evocative and charismatic an image you create in English eyes with your line, 'Took an early morningnstroll though Central Park'.
A place of legend this side of the pond, it conjurs images and dwells on the lips and minds of so many Brits who have seen images or walked there themselves. Sadly, I've still not been there, and would love to visit, but at least with this magnificent photograph, the beauty and legend lives up to the picture in my head. This is acheingly romantic, hauntingly beautiful, such beauty and wonderful lighting.
