Morning light

I was out at a retreat centre for a coupe of days last week, I looked out of the window of my room at the retreat centre and saw this tree in the morning light and thought I had to get a shot of it, so checked on some clothes and my jacket, grabbed the camera and raced down and out the back door of the place, Just as I was working out which angle to take the shot I heard the door close and click behind me, I thought ohh no dont let it be so, buut alas it was door was locked and I couldnt get back in that way, so proceeded to take a few shots of this from different angles, and then worked out best way to walk to another entrance, not having gloves or hat was quite cold out, and the best way to a door was around the centre, on snow, turned to ice and like glass, normally a couple of minute walk took 15 minutes of slip sliding carefully to get to an open entrance, boy was I glad to get back to the warmth indoors.

But when i saw the shot on my PC, I think it was worth the little adventure
