Strawberry fields

I finally happened to stumble upon Strawberry fields in Central part one afternoon last week, now that I know where it is will have to try swinging back one morning when its not so busy there, there were so many people around it this was about the only angle I could get it without to many people in shot, and had to go a bit strong on the vignette to take away some of the distractions in the background

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it

You're taking me back to our old 'haunts' when visiting our daughter. After she married she lived in Schwab House, NW corner of W 73rd & West End Avenue. The closest entrance to Central Park was at 72nd St. Our Granddaughter used to play near Strawberry Fields.

A sad memorial but always a positive message. The sort of dim photo is appropriate, I think. It's photographed and handled with a lot of care. If I had to guess I'd say you were a big fan of Lennon.

I like this image - it's got a haunting quality to it - fitting, I'd say. Hope Bahbahra and Kaha are hitting it off. Looking forward to images from their exploits in the Big Apple. BTW - Thanks for bringing NYC to life through your images. For a small town midwesterner it's always seemed a bit daunting, but your photos show it in an entirely different light.
