Sunrise as the city awakes

A shot one morning from exchange place looking over the Hudson river at Manhattan, it amazes me how over a period of as short as 30 Minutes the whole color and mood can change

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it

Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

I love the way the light behind the buildings doesn't make then silhouettes because, I think, the reflection of the sky in the sea lights up the front. An excellent shot ,JJ.

Yup you're right, this one looks dark and moody, the water looks choppy and the sky ominus. Never fails to amaze me too, I've often seen great light as the sun goes down, grabbed the camera, walked down the street and it's gone before I've had a chance to press the shutter!
