Morning shot with a HDR preset applied

Another of my morning shot, this one I applied a faux HDR preset and quite liked the end result

Had hoped my glasses would be ready but not yet, could be as long as another week, so will pace myself on PC this weekend to rest my eyes

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it

Getting ready for a work trip from the 29th so may not be able to check all your posts but will do as and when I can

you got a great result, but please explain what an "hdr preset" is?? not familiar with that term.....do hope you get a second pair of glasses this time!!! i would have been lost without mine, when i used to wear them...(say YEAH for lasik surgery!!)

Like Susan, I also am uncertain what you mean by 'faux HDR preset' . . is that something in-camera or in a processing program? Whatever, it works really well with a nice distribution of saturation in this.

I love the gentle colours of the sky right of the horizon and how the clouds look as if they are being blown over towards the landscape, as though to reflect the choppy water beneath. Such a lovely composition.
