Leaving paradise

I thought this was a good shot to close out my series of shots of our stopover in Tahiti with the plane flying away, all be it so small in shot, and the shot being more about the wonderful view from this point out over the blues

Nice landscape. It took me a little bit to find the plane. You can use a telephoto lens to compact the objects in your image so this background detail you are directing attention to becomes more pronounced in the image.

Tahiti is one of those idyllic places that I have formulated my own vision of what it must look like - based on stories and such. So, it was pleasure to see real pictures that have reinforced my opinion. I'd like to visit some time. You're final picture with the plane is very nice...I like the single palm tree and vast ocean.

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: Thanks for the feedback, quite a valid point, but maybe I mis-stated the importance of the plane in this shot also, the main thing I was capturing here was the view, the plane all be it small I just referred to as a transition to leaving this series

the view is magnificent. The palm is a great contrast to the blue color of the sea and the sky. The aircraft in the sky is the icing on the cake in the whole scene. I recognized it at the last minute. The longer I look at the plane, the closer it approached flies. It's a great effect. Great weekend and thanks for your nice comment. Dear greetings Christel

I actually like the fact that the plane is small....still get that sense of "leaving", but magnifying the beauty of this paradise one last time was the right touch!!!!
