The globe

Sorry short of time o quickly posting this, I remember someone took a shot of a similar globe somewhere in the world and I promised to get a shot of the one here in NY, so here it is

Though I've been to NYC several times, JJ, I've never seen this. I would be tempted to climb inside...though I'm guessing there are signs not to? Would street people be tempted on cold nights? So many questions....

And I so vividly remember this globe!
I was so impressed by the whole building..I was lucky and felt honored that I had a chance to visit the Un Cilmate summit, september '09!
I remember promising myself that I will -some day- get very used to this place..because it will be my employer :)

Wow, as it reflects its surroundings, this kind of reminds me of Chicago's "Bean" but it is more intricate with all those cracks and open spaces. Plus it seems to have a more golden cast. Really interesting subject; I'd like to see more of it from different angles.
