Wasted away

I always wonder what used to be there when I see something worn away like this, but I like when I see nature reclaiming thinks back to a more natural environment

on the other hand I hate seeing the devastation man has caused for example the mess in the Gulf at the moment caused by BP and greed

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I really appreciate all your comments, and welcome any critique as I am learning the art of photography, and having a blast with it

Nice hard light and textures.I was reading some statistics yesterday in a book of photos of Earth from the Air. Seemingly Europeans consume three times, and Americans a whopping six times more of everything, including energy than is a sustainable share of the worlds resources . Scary stuff. The greed underpins our life style.
