Yes they do on occasion.. and it's good they are still out there! Sometimes.. cellphones can't reach.

Mmm.....On a recent trip to New England, made most of my calls at the summit point of our hikes - only place to get coverage. Long way to go to make a phone call :-)) Always keeping a lookout for phone booths.

Sure becoming a rarity on the street . . there is a campaign to try keep the 'red boxes' on the streets of London but long gone are the days when y'd see a queue waiting to use the 'phone !!
