A day at the beach

Posted by
JJ (Jersey City, United States) on 17 June 2010 in Landscape & Rural.

This shot is from a recent day trip up to Spring Lake of recent, was a beautiful day, as I looked at and processed that I think how lucky the people there are that its not affected by this devastating BP oil spill, which still has Oil pouring into the gulf.
I am still shocked and outraged by the spill, but will use quotes which say things far better than I could

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect. ~Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac
